My inspiration for this piece was that I was trying to show happiness through color and expression, I also wanted to add color to the character in the middle this time. This was to add more warmth and make sure the person looking at it felt that it was more lively.

The process was to first sketch the character in the middle, then add the butterflies and the rainbow to the background. After that I added the penwork and the colro to the character, then fianlly I colored in the rainbow and the butterflies.
