Objectives
Shree Navdurga Arogya Seva Kendra has been registered under society act 1986 with following objectives:
1. To provide health services to its members and public.
2. To organize medical camps.
3. To create health awareness among the members and public.
4. To hold medical camps at primary, secondary and higher secondary school level periodically. Medical checkup visits in educational institutes.
5. To provide health services to orphans poor and needy public.
6. To provide charity to the members belonging to the downtrodden.
7. To provide health service guidance to member and public.
8. To do all such activities to provide best and quick health services to the members and public.
Inauguration
The Kendra was inaugurated on March 12, 2006 at the hands of Shri. ACTIVITY REPORT
The Diabetic camp was organized on the day of inauguration in which free medical check up and medicines were provided to 185 patients in association of Konkan Diabetic Association of India,Konkan Branch. (Medicines in Courtesy of Blue Cross Laboratories Verna ).
# On 28th May 2006 General Medical Camp was organized at Govt. Primary School, Talsai Borim in which free medicines were distributed to 87 patients. Courtesy of Grendix Pharmaceuticals.

# Malaria Awareness camp was organized on 27th june 2006 At Gopalkrishna Sabhagraha at 4 p.m.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr. George Ninan, personal Manager. Chowgule group.

Dr. Gokuldas Sawant, Mr. Ashok Phadte and Mr. Atmaram Usgaonkar gave talk on malaria awareness.
# On 27th July 2006 Talk was organized on AIDS, for the
Student of standard 8th, 9th and 10th Boys and girls Separately in Swami Vivekanand High school, Borim.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr.Mohan Chari, school in Charge. Dr. Gokuldas Sawant, explained in detail the various Causes & Consequences of AIDS.
# Fogging of intoxicating program for twelve days to kill mosquito’s and other harmful bacteria’s was organized for the jurisdiction of Borim village . The program was undertook with effect from 21st November 2006 to 2nd December 2006.
The program was inaugurated by Shri. Shripad Sawkar, the president of Borim Communidade in presence of ex-sarpanch Shri. Anand S. Shinde.
# Navdurga Arogya Family scheme
Launched on 19th December 2006 on the occasion of Goa liberation day in the hands of Shri. Sandeep P.S. Sangaonkar,the Personal manager ,Proctor and Gamble , a Multinational Co., Kundai Ponda.
# Medical Camp Free medical check up camp with free medicines, was conducted on 19th December 2006 for students of Government primary school, Khajorde , Borim, Ponda. The camp was inaugurated by Shri. Nagu Kavlekar , the Assistant personal officer, Mandovi, Pallat Ltd, Tarvalem Shiroda.
1st Anniversary day Program:
# Medical Camp: medical camp was conducted on 11th March 2007 for students of Pre-primary & primary of Pragati Vidyalaya Borim.the camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Shaila D .Shenvi Bokar ,Ex.Sarpanch of Borim. Medicine in Courtesy of Mr.Gajanand Dhume,Mr.Sidesh Prabhudesia & Dr.Rajendra Dev.

# Get-together for the member & well wisher of the kendra: which was Inaugurated by Mr.Arvind Kote Pricipale Kamashi Homoeopathy College & Dr. Rajesh Bhat presided for the functions . Mr. Kotte gave talk on how to keep mentally healthy & Dr. Rajesh Bhat gave talk how to keep physically healthy .
On World Health day i.e. 7 th April 2007 Diabetes & Hypertension camp was organized in which free medical check up and medicines were provided to patients in association with Indian Medical Association Ponda Branch & Assciation of occupational Health –Goa (Medicines sponsored by Lupin Ltd.).

# Malaria Awareness camp was organized on 24th June 2006 At Govt. Primary School -Tishem Bori at 5.P.m.

# On 15th August 2007 EYE camp was organized in association with Shree Krishna Vithal Karwarkar Health Trust & Kohinoor optician. 208 patient attend camp. Free medicine & optical were distributed to patient .

On 2 nd October 2007: A) Medical camp was organized for the student of Govt. primary school Paniwada Borim. Free Medicines were distributed to students. Medicines were sponsored by Dr. Usgaonkar Ponda.

B) In evening member cleaned the premises of Navadurga temple Borim to create awareness of cleanness in social places to general publics.
I.M.A Ponda had organized a camp for senior citizen on the “Senior Citizen day”.Two needy senior citizens from Borim were sent by the Kendra. Full medical checkup & medicines were provided to them.
On 13 Jan. 2008 Medical camp was organized for the student of Govt. primary school Tamshire & General public at Tamshire Borim In which free Medicines were distributed to Patients.Medical Checkup was done by Dr.Vinod Parab , Dr. Utkarsh Jhalmi. & Dr..Jaysree Madkaikar

#On occasion of 2ndAnniversary of Kendra Free Medical checkup was done at our Dispensary. By Dr.Gokuldas Sawant (M.D.). Fifty Patients were examined & give medicines.

On the occasion of world health day medical camp on diabetes and hypertension detection in association with India medical association Ponda at St. Zavir church Bori, about 37 patient were examine by Dr Dhaimondkar, Dr. Lalana Bakhle.
On 28th Dec 2008 the shri. Krishna Vithal Karwarkar health trust Margao and Navdurga Arogya Seva Kendra organize medical camp ( Eye Camp) the said camp was inaugurated by the sarpanch of the Bori Village Mr. Sunil Sawkar,140 patients were examine and free spectacles were distributed to 100 needy patients
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Swami Vivekananda on 12th Jan 2009 one week yoga camp was held in association with Patangali Yog, Pratibha Friends Circle and Navdurga Arogya Kendra, the camp was inaugurated by the Senior citizen of our village Shri shashikant V Dewari the said camp was attended by 43 citizen of the village.
On 18th Jan 2009 in association with Indian Medical Association
Ponda branch and the Bori Urban Co-op Credit Society Ltd Bori general medical camp was held at Govt. Primary school Shirshire Bori, the camp was inaugurated by the principal of Swami Vivekananda higher secondary in which free medical checkup and medicine were distributed to 100 patients.
On 22nd Feb Dental camp was organize in association with Shiveshwar Devastan Khajorde Bori the camp was inaugurated by President of the Devastan Sudhir R Borkar total 83 patient were examine.
Arogya Kendra has also taken up another responsibility of collecting waste Plastic bags at Navdurganagar kalmamol Bori for last four month.
