Traffic Safety Week 2012

In September Goa will celebrate Traffic safety week, Mr, Vishram Borkar SP and his team will be work with Bori residents to address their challenges in making Bori a safe place for vehicular traffic.

The Goa traffic cell will make available their personnel and services to train the residents to address their problems.

The major challenges highlighted are as below

• Traffic congestion at Sai Baba temple on Thurs and any other festival days.
• Navdurga temple during annual zaatra and marriages
• Blockages during accidents on highway
• People to use bus stop, to avoid traffic blockage at peak hours
• Pedestrians rights to cross highway
• Education of proper driving rules and dos and dont's by pedestrians
• Keeping roads accessible for proper vehicular traffic movement
