Siddanath Hill

The Siddanath Hill road was a challenge which could not be resolved by the Goa admistration and the political brass. Harshad Devari, A BDT member took the lead to resolve the issue with the concerned stakeholders.

Kudos is in order for the achievement!

Developmental Plan

  • Development of the Siddhanath Hill as a hill station with maintaining the sanctity of the ancient temple and tali is a challenge. With the road to the top of the hill tourists have already started polluting the area along with irrational felling of trees.
  • A plan to attain controlled development with nature camps to qualified trainers, trekking & nature trails to explore the beauty with safety precautions, zero tolerance to ingress of any plastic or non biodegradable materials on the hill will bring a strong awareness to keep it free of man made pollution.
  • The area damaged by illegal quarrying can be protected by making a rock climbing/rappelling site which will introduce the children from Goa to the new sport along with conducting outbound training in the area. A water reservoir on the hill can be attraction of water falls.
