On November 30, 2010 the Birth Centenary of Padmashri Kavivarya Bakibab Borkar will be celebrated at his statue on the Navdurga Lake, Bori.
A "Palki" of his literary work will be arranged from his house "Shantiniketan" to the statue site at 8 am.

Digambar Kamat followed by a Musical programme “Shabda Yatri Bakibab” based on the poems of Lt. B. B. Borkar by Pt. Prabhakar Karekar, Shri. Rajesh Madgaonkar & Smt. Shilpa Duble Parab at 4.30 p.m at Goa State Museum Auditorium, Patto, Panaji-Goa.
