This copy does not seem to show a deformed D, unless it is the upper. It does show a E blur however.

Unused, but damaged. I am not sure what the PPSC were looking at when they made the comment about the lower D, as this looks fine. It could be that they were referring to a later state of the stamp. The blur to the East is again present.
