One of the best tools that platers have is the pre-arranged arrays of imprimaturs available from several sources. At least some of these sources do not include imprimaturs that have been removed from the imprimatur sheet. This tends not to be a problem until we get to for example some A row positions where there are many more gaps than stamps. Below you will find some arrays that I have worked on for my own plating with many of the gaps filled. Please note that I will only normally fill a gap with a scan of the actual imprimatur, or a multiple of some kind. If we only have singletons for a position, I rather leave it blank.
Many of these images can be found at Ian Wright's very useful Missing Imprimatur website http://www.maltesex.com/missing_imprimatur/
