My dear Sir,
Many thanks for your kind note of yesterday — at the moment you called, I was getting to bed again, very faint and unwell after having been sitting up for a little while — I trust to be able in a few days to finish the little postage stamp, and then I will do the best I can with the spoil'd vignette. I herewith send you 'The Plough' — there is an impression along with the Drawing and I think Mr. Salter will find the plate in an excellent state for finishing.
I am, my dear Sir,
Very sincerely yours,
Will Humphrys
To J. B. Bacon, Esq.
