At the time of writing, only TG and TK are known in later states, though I suspect there may be more to find here.
A good match for the imprimatur but showing a wonderful amount of general wear.
Several point to mention with this stamp. Firstly, there is a general strengthening of the impression with both background lattice work and facial features slightly firmer. The imprimatur showed a largely open right side, which is has been rectified in this state. The area directly above 'Penny' looks like it may have been re-cut. Both check letters have been thickened when comparing with the earlier impressions. Is this a state 2? That depends on whether the check letters were re-cut at the same operation as the impression was re-entered. It is either a state 2 or state 3 is the best I can say until we see more examples.
