The truth is he became a martial artist with the impure motive of trying to get girls, but it seems it did not go so well. He has even been jealous of Goku's marriage. However he finally gets his dream girl, and marries Jinzoningen #18. They later have a daughter, Marron, who shockingly has the same name as his girlfriend from the Garlic Jr. Saga.

While not physically blessed, he knows various moves and techniques. His specialty is manipulating energy.

In the anime he seems like a gag character, and in Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan, he displayed his prided singing voice. In Broly: Second Coming, he appeared disguised as Piccolo. His girlfriend Maron appeared in the TV series, but they quickly broke up. However, he also has some cool moments, like when he shielded Jinzoningen #18 and their daughter when Buu turned them into chocolate. He later died when Jinzoningen #17 killed him after being brainwashed by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myu. On a contrary, he was wished back to life after the defeat of Super Ii-Shenlong at the hands of Goku's Genki-Dama.
