This film kicks off with the footage from the Bardock Special. It shows Freeza destroying Planet Vegeta with his Death Ball and his brother, Coola watches the destruction from the ship. He also sees Goku's pod escaping, believing to be a no threat, lets it go, and flies off as the planet explodes. Almost twenty-four to twenty-seven years later, Coola receives the notice that his brother, Freeza has been killed by a Saiyan. Initially have no compassion Coola takes his Armored Squad (Sauzer, Dore, and Naize) after Goku to reclaim family honor.

When Goku, Gohan, Kuririn, and Oolong go on a camping trip and ambushed by Coola's team. Coola fights Goku and tells the history of Freeza, He unveils his final transformation (a transformation that Coola learned that Freeza have) and pummels Goku down the wall. Because of Coola's intentions to destroy the planet, Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan after picking up a dying bird (which was revived) and fights Coola to show his power. Since he was outclassed, he forms a Death Ball (the same attack Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta and attempt to kill Mirai Trunks) to kill Goku and destroy the Earth. However, after several struggles, Goku backfires it with the Kamehameha and blasts him into the sun. Coola realizes that Goku should've stopped many years back. After this, Coola incinerates in the sun heat wave.

After Goku defeating Coola, things turned normal once again when Gohan looks for Piccolo under the rocks, but it was to believe was Sauzer. He tries to destroy them but he was eventually killed by Piccolo. Gohan calls Piccolo and the movie ends Piccolo looks up at the sun.

CANONCITY CLARIFICATION: Canon

This film might have take place between Ep. 124 and 125 and the year 764-767 (as Daizenshuu 7 stated). But despite Mirai Trunks killed Mecha Freeza and King Cold, Coola has been ashamed but seems intent only seeking vengeance for the shame thrust upon his family by Freeza's display of inferiority on Namek, as though he were completely unaware of not only his father's recent death, but also of the second death of his brother, as well. However, it is entirely possible that news of these recent events never reached him, since Trunks, along with killing Freeza and King Cold, blew up their spaceship and killed all of Freeza's men.
