The Woman's Child

The Angel of The Lord

travelled over the stars

The stars below him were like sands of a spacious sea.

Quickly he flew passed the lightwaves of the stars,

making starlight move in slow motion,

like an eagle soaring

above slow breaking waves on an ocean shore,

until he saw among the crystal grains the world of the woman

and her child.

He descended then through time and space

until his eye fixed upon the woman and her child,

those whom he was sent to serve.

He took a secret way,

soaring down over the wilderness world,

the derelict earth,

with its plantation of nations,

the self-engineered nations planted in dark rows,

like trees so weak, so motherless, so vulnerable to infection,

ever reproducing and never able to mature

into an old growth Humanity.

And among the plantation of nations,

nations forming a forest like a forest of weeds,

all planted and rooted in dead lines stretched out before him,

like a wilderness without love and barren of true life,

among this artificial forest,

hidden away in a deserted place

in the midst of that wilderness earth,

the Angel of the Lord found

the woman: an old growth Humanity,

clothed with the sun, the moon upon her feet,

with a garland crown of 12 stars upon her forehead.

And the serpent-toothed dragon was nearby

searching for her.

Like a locust,

the dragon was devouring rows of nations.

In the dragon's raging hunger to consume the unique child

whom the woman brought forth,

whom she brought forth to rule and cultivate all nations,

the serpent-headed dragon

was prepared to consume the whole earth

in order to find and destroy the woman and her child.

But the dragon could not,

for the unique child was wrapped in the light

that gave light to the stars.

And the Woman went into the Temple of the Lord

and placed him into the Hands of the Lord.

At that moment the woman could be seen,

so the serpent-tongued dragon struck out at the Woman,

seeking to destroy her.

But the Angel of the Lord swooped her up and flew her deep,

deep into the wilderness plantation of nations,

into the most hidden place which had been prepared for her,

leaving the serpent-tongued dragon raging,

spewing a great plasma stream of venom after her,

slanders, lies and curses,

with the force of a raging worldfire starving for air.

And the earth,

with a nature immune to the dragon's venom,

helped the woman,

opening its mouth to swallow its flood

of vile spirited words, slanders and curses.

Then in desperation,

knowing it was about to breathe its last,

the dragon swung again its serpent's fangs

and poisonous tongue around

to persecute and kill the unique child's siblings

the Woman's other children.

But the light created before the sun or moon or stars

sustained them,

when the unique child prayed for them,

so they had no fear of death.

Their prayers came out of their graves

and reached the heaven of heavens

and entered the Holy of Holies above the heavens,

so that Heaven gave victory to Michael their angel,

and to the word of truth,

which they heard being whispered

from before the foundation of the world,

and they overcame the serpent-tongued dragon

and crushed his head,

filled with viruses and worms and lies,

beneath their feet.

Then the woman and her children stood

in the hand of the unique child,

like candles on the eve of Sabbath,

lit with soft and quiet light,

shining with kindness

into the dark plantation rows,

into the nations and their traumatized hearts

and terrorized minds

and aborted and abandoned souls,

healing them gently,

cultivating for them new roots,

that they too might do and hear God's word

and become trees of life.
