One Day

At the foot of the cross

God created the dark flowing expanses of the heavens

and the grave and wild spinning earth

The earth was dark and murky matter

not fully feeling God's love

not fully believing God’s love

And the Spirit of God caressed

the pool of blood and water streaming from its face

from where the Son of God wept

And God said Let the light of Mashiach be

And the light of Mashiach shinned forth

until the rays of hope struck the harmonics of eternity

And God saw the light of Mashiach that it was good

and God separated the light of Mashiach

from the darkness of the heaven and the earth

at the foot of the cross

And the light of Mashiach God called the day of salvation

And the darkness he called the midnight of judgment

And the deadly approach of midnight

And the morning of salvation

Were one Good News Day

at the foot of the cross
