On Psalms 19

The heavens keep the accounts of the glory of God.

The artwork of his hands is woven through the gravity of the letters of his fingers.

Day after day steps forward and gives a divine speech about God's glory.

Night after night teaches devout students heaven's deep knowledge.

There is no earthly language to translate the praises of God that are in the heavens.

And no hearing has yet attained to a level as elevated as their sound.

But their harmonics ring out through all souls upon the earth,

and they communicate mysteries to all the world's inhabitants.

In the middle of the stage of heaven's orchestra

God has placed a seat for the sun.

Like a groom emerging from his bridal chamber,

the sun sings praises to his Creator.

As the star of the show,

he sings God's praises with joyous accompaniment,

the joyous accompaniment of all the heavens.

The sun's featured performance is the highlight of the heavenly orchestra's praises.

Everyone feels the song of the sun to the Creator.

Even the deaf can feel the heartwarming waves of its song.

The Torah of God is perfect,

healing the deaf soul.

The testimony of Hashem is trustworthy,

making those lost in confusion to be of sound mind.

The orders of Hashem lift one upright,

making the heart glad.

It is the command of Hashem that makes all things clear

destroying the lie that blinds the eyes,

making consciousness wise to truth.

A spirit of reverent fear of Hashem is pure,

the only spirit that can endure forever.

The judgments of Hashem are true,

their every facet is righteousness.

Gold is worthless compared to them.

The finest gold is like dirt to those whose desire is to know the judgments of Hashem.

To them His judgments are sweeter than honey on the tongue.

They are the drippings of the honeycomb of heaven.

So when your servant is careful to observe them and carry them out in great faithfulness,

the reward is immeasurable!

Who can identify all mistakes?

Cleanse me from faults that I will never recognize!

And restrain me from thinking of committing any sin.

Do not allow me to become a slave to sin.

Cleanse me, restrain me,

then I will be perfect.

Your grace will save me from the great transgression.

May the confession of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart

find grace in Your presence,

Hashem, My Rock and my Redeemer.
