Poem of the Temple

Stones of the Temple,

the tears of the Almighty.

Tears that fall but for a moment.  Hear our

lamentations and wailing!

For the veil is drawn.

The Eyelid of the Creator of heaven and earth has closed.

For the twinkling of an eye the Eyelid of the Creator is

the altar of the firstborn lamb.

This is the Temple of the firstborn from the dead

when the veil of the eye is lifted.

A root sprang up out of dead ground.

The branch was built into an edifice of life.

The Temple of good news,

of Moshe's Torah of Redemption.

The Temple of the Torah of Reconciliation.

The Temple of the Name of God in Jerusalem.

The Temple of Mercy.

The Temple of Blessing.

The blessing all the families of the earth,

the Temple of

those whose tongues sing blessings for Israel.

Holy of Holies upon which all worlds rest.

Blood of joy!  Eternal life!

The Temple of Adam's Salvation.

My Temple Prayer

The LORD

The root of my tongue is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

May my tongue obey His commandment!

God

The root of my eyes is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel.

May my eyes obey His commandment!

commanded

The root of my heart is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

May my heart obey His commandment!

the Adam,

The root of my body, and my family, is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel.

May the root of my strength obey His commandment!

saying,

The root of my mind is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

May my mind and passion obey His commandment!

of all the garden trees

The root of my soul is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

May my breath and soul obey His commandment.

you may freely eat…

The root of my spirit, and my love, is under the authority of the LORD God of Israel.

May my spirit, my charity, obey His commandment!
