Poem of The Alephbet

Poem of The Alephbet

את

There were souls adrift

waking from the darkness

and seeking to learn

and drawn to a teacher

who taught them about

the building of beauty

and how its resources

were from the one and only

place of treasure

and how in beauty’s building

it laboured to learn

seeking to secure its foundation

through the designs

that were found for it

also in that one and only

place of treasure

and how beauty sought

by building itself up

according to the design it found

in the place of treasure

to become pillars and posts

for the doorway into heaven

The teacher opened the eye of the soul

and showed it how

that beauty was fashioned into a prayer

like a door

attached to its pillars and posts

and opening from below to above

when the fine tears of hope

sharpened and moved its spirit

so that beauty’s secret

was concealed and revealed

what was above was below

and what was below was above

for beauty's branches blossomed below

when her prayer

anchored her roots in the truth above

and in seven days

beauty’s gift was given

Then the teacher showed the souls

how the face of beauty radiated

and the souls were stirred and excited

and they ceased drifting

and gathered together to learn

then understanding was given to them

and a spring of beauty was born in them

a song of the seasons of beauty

arose from them

their hearts beat to the rhythm of beauty

and opened as one heart

bearing the fruit

of the Tree of Love

Then the souls knew

the love of the Building of Beauty

and their knowledge was a new prayer

pleading with praise

for the peace of beauty

to crown and comfort their teacher forever
