Poetic Thoughts on The Universal Commandment

On Bereshit 2:16

On the framework of the universal commandment before sin

and when sin is no more, and

On being created for the gift of commandments

THE LORD

(Reflect no other light than His light.

In holiness light will shine from my mouth.)

GOD

(Whisper, "I do"

and declare out loud,

"My mother, Jerusalem, will be His bride

and I will be His child!")

COMMANDED

(I am commanded, therefore I am!

I am commanded, therefore I will repent.

I will be righteous and gracious!)

THE ADAM

(I will serve and I will hear!

We will be limbs of the Mashiach

to nurture and heal worlds.)

SAYING,

(I will believe Him and know forever;

I will believe Him and learn forever.

I will cleave to the word of God forever.)

OF EVERY TREE OF THE GARDEN

(The letters of the word of God

sustaining every aspect, facet and element of  Creation,

this and nothing else will be my food.)

YOU MAY FREELY EAT

(I will eat  joy and kindness

and drink thankfulness and love.

For like the hatchling bird,

I will eat His word from the mouth of God.

I will obey and I will nurture my soul.)
