Oh The Wind

God is able to contract time or to expand it,

to turn time into eternity

or to cause it to cease to exist.

Oh the wind, the wind of God,

troubling the face of the waters

the fluid heavens, the flowing earth.

Oh the wind, the wind of God

troubling the beginning and the end,

for its good,

creating within the hidden light

the soul that suffers with kindness,

in order to give birth to light in darkness.

Oh the wind, the wind of God,

the terrible Messianic wind of God,

that swirls the nations like dust together

and gives eternal birth to Jerusalem

and her newly young souls,

in the resurrected dead.
