Let the world engine go off the rails
It is time for eternal life
The Romans are Giants
The Germans are Giants
The Moslems are Giants
No,
all the nations are tiny grasshoppers
They are the prey
of the birds of the heavens
Today
If you hear His voice
enter into His rest
do not be like certain generations
now long past
who thought in unbelief
who imagined in fear
who thought they did not
have the power of will
the moral fortitude
the military
or political strength
to stand firm and walk on
into all the Land
into both the milk and the honey
into all the holy intimacy of the Divine Presence
when they only needed
to walk humbly
in every word of God’s magnanimous promise
Today
If you hear his voice
you accept His judgment
you accept Adam's sentence of death
for Adam’s rebellious self-reliance
you accept that the only hope of life
is in the place that lies beyond death
We are already at the Judge's mercy
Don’t try to save the rebellion
with a small repentance
Let the world engine go off the rails
Go for the sake of your soul
to a Land that the Maker of heaven and earth
will show you
The One God made His world
to rest in His joy with Him
singing with eternal life
He alone can overthrow the Pharaoh
in the unbelieving heart
Oh come let us sing to the One God
the One who chose Israel
Let us make a joyful noise
to the only rock of salvation!
Let us walk in perfect faith
into the Land of Thanksgiving
even Israel, the Land of His Presence
Let us make the joyful noise of children
whose hearts are songs of praise
For Israel’s God is the great God
the great Ruler above all gods
The core of the earth is in His hands
The heights of the mountains
and the depths of the sea belong to Him
His commandment separates the waters
and the eternal Land of Israel appears
