5 sweet potatoes, cooked & mashed
½ cup sugar
¼ cup milk
1 egg beaten
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Crunchy Topping
½ cup melted butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup corn flakes (crushed)
½ cups nuts
Preheat oven to 350°.
Boil the sweet potatoes until soft. Peel and mash the potatoes.
Mix the next seven ingredients and add to the mashed potatoes. Mix well. Pour into greased casserole dish. Bake for 35 minutes.
Mix the crunchy top ingredients. Sprinkle over the potatoes. Bake an additional 8 minutes.
