1 pound cooked macaroni
¼ cup butter
¼ cup flour
½ salt
½ pepper
¼ tsp paprika
2 cups milk
1 ¼ cups sharp cheese
Preheat oven to 350°.
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir one minute; remove from heat. Stir in cheese until melted.
Gently stir macaroni into cheese sauce. Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
