4 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
salt(?)
2 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 450°.
Sift flour and baking powder together. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture. Mix well.
Refrigerate dough for an hour.
Roll out dough until 1/8 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake for four to five minutes.
Frost with butter cream icing.
