Custard

¾ cup sugar

1 quart milk

3 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

Mix milk and eggs. Add sugar. Pour into double boiler. Cook until thick (soupy thick) stirring all the time. Pour into pitcher. Add vanilla. Cool.

Pour into glasses.
