approve OF ...:

die OF (an illness):

consist OF ...:
We had an enormous meal. It consisted of seven courses.
2. 동사 + for
pay FOR (something that you buy):
I didn't have enough money to pay for the meal. (not pay the meal)
pay a bill / a fine / a tax / a fare / rent / a sum of money 등 (전치사 없음):
I didn't have enough money to pay my telephone bill.
thank/forgive somebody FOR ...:
I'll never forgive them for what they did.
apologize (to somebody) FOR ...:
When I realized I was wrong, I apologized (to them) for my mistake.
blame somebody/something FOR ...:
Everybody blamed me for the accident.
somebody is to blame for ...:
Everybody said that I was to blame for the accident.
blame something ON ...:
Everybody blamed the accident on me.
3. 동사 + from
suffer FROM (an illness 등):
The number of people suffering from heart disease has increased.
protect somebody/something FROM (or AGAINST) something:
Sunscreen can protect you from the sun. (or ... against the sun.)
4. 동사 + on
depend / reply ON ...:
"What time will you get there?" "I don't know. It depends on the traffic."
You can rely on Jill. She always keeps her promises.
의문문에서 "depend + when/where/how 등" 형식을 사용할 수 있습니다. 이 형식에는 on을 사용해도 되고 생략해도 됩니다:
"Are you going to buy it?" "It depends how much it is." (or depends on how much)
live ON (money/food):
George's salary is very low. It isn't enough to live on.
congratulate (someone) ON ... / compliment (somebody) ON ...:
I congratulated her on being admitted to law school.
