so + 형용사/부사:

such + 명사:
such a story such people
such + 형용사 + 명사:
such a stupid story such nice people
I didn't like the book. It was such a stupid story. (not so stupid story)
I like Tom and Ann. They are such nice people. (not so nice people)
such a ... :
It's such a big house. (not a such big house)
So와 such는 형용사와 부사의 의미를 강조해줍니다:
It's a beautiful day, isn't it? It's so warm. (= really warm)
He's hard to understand because he speaks so quickly.
so ... that ...은 "매우 ~ 하기 때문에 ~하다[했다]"라는 의미입니다:
The book was so good that I couldn't put it down.
I was so tired that I fell asleep in the armchair.
that은 생략할 수 있습니다:
I was so tired (that) I fell asleep.
We enjoyed our vacation. We had such a good time. (= a really good time)
such ... that ...은 "매우 ~ 하기 때문에 ~ 하다"라는 의미입니다:
It was such a good book that I couldn't put it down.
It was such nice weather that we spent the whole day at the beach.
that은 생략할 수 있습니다:
It was such nice weather (that) we ...
So와 such는 "이와 같은(like this)"의 의미로 사용하기도 합니다:
I was surprised to find out that the house was built 100 years ago. I didn't realize it was to old. (= as old as it is)
I'm tired because I got up at 6:00. I don't usually get up so early.

The house was so messy. I've never seen such a mess. (= a mess like this)
so long과 such a long time:
I haven't seen her for so long I've forgotten what she looks like.
so far와 such a long way:
