1. Dream
dream ABOUT ...:
I dreamed about you last night. (when I was asleep)
dream OF being something / doing something (= imagine):
I often dream of being rich.
"Don't tell anyone what I said." "No, I wouldn't dream of it." (= I would never do it)
2. Hear
hear ABOUT ... (= be told about something):
Did you hear about the fight in the restaurant on Saturday night?
hear OF ... (= know that somebody/something exists):
"Who is Tom Hart?" "I have no idea. I've never heard of him." (not heard from him)
hear FROM ... (= receive a letter or phone from somebody)
"Have you heard from Lisa lately?" "Yes, I got a letter from her a few days ago."
3. think ABOUT ...과 think OF ...
think ABOUT something은 something에 대해 생각을 집중하는 것을 의미합니다:
You look serious. What are you thinking about?
"Will you lend me the money?" "I'll think about it."
think OF something은 something에 대한 생각이 떠오르는 것을 의미합니다:
He told me his name, but I can't think of it now. (not think about it)
That's a good idea. Why didn't I think of that? (not think about that)
think of는 의견을 요구하거나 제공할 때도 사용합니다:
"What did you think of the movie?" "I didn't think much of it." (= I didn't like it much)
미래에 가능한 행위에 대해서는 think of와 think about 모두 사용할 수 있습니다:
My sister is thinking of (or about) going to Canada. (= she is considering it)
4. Remind
remind somebody ABOUT ... (= tell somebody not to forget):
I'm glad you reminded me about the meeting. I had completely forgotten about it.
remind somebody OF ... (= cause somebody to remember):
This house reminds me of the one I lived in when I was a child.

5. Complain
complain (TO somebody) ABOUT ... (= say that you are not satisfied):
We complained to the manager of the restaurant about the food.
complain OF a pain / an illness 등 (= say that you have a pain 등):
We called the doctor because George was complaining of a pain in his stomach.
6. Warn
warn somebody ABOUT a person or thing that is dangerous, unusual, etc.:
I knew he was a strange person. I had been warned about him. (not warned of him)
Vicky warned us about the traffic. She said it would be bad.
warn somebody ABOUT/OF a danger, something bad that might happen:
Everybody has been warned about/of the dangers of smoking.
