like는 "~과 비슷한 (similar to, the same as)"의 의미로 사용됩니다:

"What does Sandra do?" "She's a teacher, like me." (not as me)

Some sports, like race-car driving, can be dangerous. or Some sports, such as race-car driving, can be dangerous.
as가 "in the same way"와 같은 의미로 사용되면 다음에 "주어 + 동사"가 옵니다:
I didn't move anything. I left everything as I found it. (= the way I found it)
You should have done it as I showed you. (= the way I showed you)
I left everything like I found it.
like와 as의 비교:
You should have done it like this. (not as this)
You should have done it as I showed you or ... like I showed you.
as usual / as always:
You're late as usual.
Please do as I say. (= do what I say)
They did as they promised. (= they did what they promised)
as you know / as I was saying / as she expected / as I thought 등:
As you know, it's Tom's birthday next week. (= you know it's his birthday)
Ann failed her driving test, as she expected. (= she expected this)
like I was saying / like I said와 같은 표현을 사용할 수는 있으나, 일반적으로 like은 다른 표현(as you know 등)에서는 사용하지 않습니다.
Brenda Casey is the manager of a company. As the manager, she has to make many important decisions. (As the manager = in her position as the manager)
Mary Stone is the assistant manager. Like the manager (Brenda Casey), she also has to make important decisions. (Like the manager = similar to the manager)
전치사로서의 as는 "in the position of, in the form of"와 같은 의미로 사용됩니다:
