Some tanks went into action more than once.
Some of the ditched tanks would have been recovered, some of the tanks that failed to start were abandoned.
Four tanks were knocked out when not in combat:
Two on 12th October when moving forward from the Loop (S2.p117)
Two female tanks on 23rd October 1916 when lying up on the Albert - Bapaume Road (S2.p101)
