This section sent into action due South of Cayeux Wood to clear a collection of MG nests which were troubling the infantry. ^(H1) the Mgs were in squares E26 and E27 ^(W1a)

Account of Operations

The MGs were successfully cleared by 12 noon ^(w1a)

The Official history states two of the five tanks were destroyed by Anti Tank gun fire, this is not mentioned in the report. ^(OH)
