To help the infantry establish themselves in Noreuil switch and Longatte Trench. (H6)

Account of Operations

4 whippets advanced at 5:45am, four tanks going forward in echelon formation and clearing the enemy from Noreuil switch, Longatte Trench and the area in between. (H6) then returned to Gomiercourt at 9:45am. The infantry did not follow on and thus a further attack was necessary. (W6)
