Nature's True Lessons

Nature does not want destruction of humanity. Humanity is its greatest creation. It does however want people to learn their lesson. The point is not suffering to be inflicted on people; the point is getting people to realize what ways are rightful and what ways are wrong. Burning or poisoning nature's other creations is wrong, and people need to understand this and act accordingly.

Nature is not against man's creative, inventive or constructive potentials. It is however rightfully against man's destructive potential. Coming up with great inventions is not what is against nature; blind destruction of natural riches is. It's not, as some claim, the scientists and inventors that are against nature. Blind destruction of natural treasures that one cannot re-create is against nature.

Whereas many of the high-level inventions benefit people to a much greater extent than they cost nature, and this makes them a positive direction to take. Human intelligence is nature's proudest creation; and it is from this that must be made decisions regarding nature as well as civilization. Is what one does an improvement or a degradation upon the givens? Does one leave the world a richer or poorer place for oneself having been in it? Are one's actions beneficial to a greater or lesser extent than they are destructive? What is realized: greater utility or greater harm?

It's not the scientists that are causing the greatest bulk of damage to nature. It is people who are against science even as they, as consumers of technological products, benefit daily from what science has to give. It is the people who claim that there's no such thing as the global warming. It is the people who claim that blind, brutal, stupid economic practices are progress and actual progress isn't. It is the people who tell you that scientists are devil-worshipping communists even as they daily make use of knowledge that science made possible and credit this knowledge to America or to God.

It is stupidity, not intelligence, that is therefore the true enemy of nature. And more people need to understand these things in order that they make better choices on how to deal with nature and how to deal with humanity.
