Training Experiences

Dear Graduate Student,

My name is Vanessa Zimmerman and I am a trans-affirmative graduate student pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology.

Are you a student who is currently enrolled in a clinical psychology doctorate program? If so, please consider taking part in this survey about the type and extent of training experiences in your current program (specifically regarding working with clients who identify as transgender). My hope for this survey is to begin to gain an understanding of the current state of our training experiences and how well they prepare us for current and future work with the transgender population.

*Everyone who completes this survey has the option of being entered into a lottery with a chance to win one of eight $25 Amazon.com giftcards.

Email addresses will not be analyzed with other data provided on the survey, though if you would prefer, please feel free to email me directly (ZimmermanVanessa@gmail.com) letting me know that you would like to be entered into the lottery.

My chair for this project is Lynett Henderson Metzger, Psy.D., J.D. My co-chairs are Rachael St. Claire, Psy.D., and John McNeil, Ph.D. If you have any questions or concerns about this survey, please feel free to contact either myself or Dr. Henderson Metzger.

This survey should only take you between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary and responses will be kept anonymous.
