Sensory Issues
Autistic people usually experience a lot of sensory issues. Things like loud or repeated noises, specific smells and flickering lights can all create problems. The sensory issues pervade everything and include "scratchy clothing", food texture issues and general day-to-day life. When the sensory issues become too much, often a meltdown follows.
