Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach again!   In another attempt to make his rival Mario fall into a trap, this time he’s hiding out in space.  Can Mario survive, stop Bowser’s mysterious master plan, and rescue the Princess?  This game is available only for the Nintendo Wii.

It’s been seven years since Mario’s last 3-D platformer game, but Nintendo still has the same magic!  This game combines the best of the other two Mario 3-D platformers, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, giving this game a leap of uniqueness over any Nintendo Wii game.

Nintendo never forgets their past and to prove my point even farther, when you are on an airship (a ship that hovers and flies in the air), it plays the Super Mario Bros 3 airship music – very classic.

This game features a two player co-op mode, where a second player can start playing at any time, helping Mario grab items and avoid enemy attacks.  This game also uses online capabilities; you can send your data and scores to friends, to compare scores.  After beating the game, you can still strive for 120 stars in over 40 galaxies.

The camera angles take some getting used to, as it will turn upside down and side to side, depending on where you are on the planet.  After you get used to it, it’s a better fit, because you can instantly tell where you are on a planet by what the camera angle is.

This game would be perfect, if it wasn’t for the long cut scenes and talking scenes everywhere.  This game is everything fans hoped for.  Though it’s not perfect, it’s still amazing.  It’s definitely one of Nintendo’s best
