Jeanette's son, Lee Hamilton CooperSmith said:
'I have a very sweet story to tell about my grandparents: Jeanett's father, William, known as 'Bill Mac', was from Sterling in Scotland and was posted to Swansea during the war where he met my grandmother Winnie walking along the prom. His service hat flew off his head in the wind and she caught it and said he could only have it back if he asked her on a date.
The rest is obviously history!

Oystermouth Infants School, Newton Road in 1953, Coronation year.
It is one of two showing pupils at the same fancy dress event at the School and is part of the collection, held by Jeanette MacAdam (later Cooper) who was born in 1949.
Robert Wilks was at the same event and sent us a different version.
