The function room, known as The Kursaal, was a prefabricated building, which opened in August 1906.
The Hall later was later rebuilt and became our much loved 'Tiv', the Tivoli Cinema

The Figure Eight and the Fairground was situated near the cinemas.
Later the Fairground was the site of the Tennis Courts and Bowling Green.

Also called, The Promenade Picture Hall, it was later taken over by The Catholic Church, Our Lady Star of the Sea

In addition, along the top of the photo, we see, Underhill Park, Coltshill Quarry, Oystermouth School, Oystermouth Castle and Clements Quarry, now the 'Quarry Car Park.' In the middle, Woodville Road, runs from left downwards.
