Portsmouth City Park Paddle 5/22/12

This Tuesday May 22, 2012 we had a paddle at Portsmouth City Park and we had 9 to show up for a 9 mile paddle. The water was as slick as glass as we put our kayaks in the water and this lasted for about the whole trip. As we neared the put-in after about 4.5 hours later the wind pick-up and a storm moved in but, we reached the beach and loaded our boats before the rains came down. All 9 drove to the Dary Queen there on Portsmouth Blvd and most had ice cream, Bill got two cones.
