We had another excellent day. The Group consisted of Marti, Phyllis, Pat Z, Bob M, Mark, Patti, Dottie, Ron, Sue, Vic and Margaret P, Bill B and James. First we met at Ellis’ and Marti’s then dropped off our lunches and swimsuits at Patti’s. We rode our bikes up the hill to West Great Neck/ North Great Neck Road, along the Cape Henry Trail into First Landing State Park. After a few stops for water along the way we rode to the Narrows Boat Ramp where we took our time looking out over the waters of Broad Bay. The weather was delightful. We retraced our way back through the Park to Patti’s where we changed into our swimsuits jumping into the pool. After a few minutes we had three beach balls flying high into the air, water was splashing, and laughter could be heard for blocks. Lunch was followed by more swimming. After the action settled down we had the usual ice cream with Phyllis’ famous brownies. Special thanks to Pattie for allowing us to use her pool. It was truly a good day for the Tuesday Group.
