RGB Halo Lights

with sneak peak covers for part 3 of Summer 2022

I have been using the RGB Halo kit since the spring 2019 and absolutely love them. They are a nice addition to my underglow & interior RGB lights.

XKCHROME ADD ON KIT

XKglow RGB Halos for headlights. I went with the add on kit from xk glow. The 70mm size fit the best. SKU: XK042008-NC-70 . Since I have the underglow kit I can just use the add on. If you don't already have an XKchrome Smartphone App Controller, you will have to go with the full Halo kit so you can control them. As the RGB HALO KIT FOR HEADLIGHTS | XKCHROME SMARTPHONE APP from xkglow.

If you don't have the xkchrome RGB controller from the underglow kit or another xkchrome kit, you will need this one.

To purchase both you are looking at $340 for both

Used a heat gun and flathead screwdriver to slowly separate the lens. Started pulling from the turn light and worked my way in toward the headlights.

Used a two part epoxy to lightly bond the ring to the edge of the housing. avoid getting it on the glass of the projector headlight.

the wirers easily run right out of the back, and you can clean them up easily with wire loom.

I zip tied the Driver box to the frame

It requires you to tap into the parking light , turn light and ground according to the wiring diagram. The truth is you only need to use the ground if you want to use just only the RGB.

it turning light blue when when the parking lights come on or turning yellow for the turn signal. I disconnected it and I am just run it off of the xk controller with the black ground wire.

RGB circuit. this allows two different colors.

Tip: clean the inside of the lens and the chrome light housing before reassembly you will be surprised how dirty it is.

smart LED NeoPixels 24. only problem is it has 66mm outer diameter which it does not fit flush with the inside headlight housing. It lays on the projector glass
