2 coats of Dupli-Color adhesion promoter. Next it was painted with 5 coats of the Duplicolor perfect match BHA0959 Bordeaux Red (R78P), followed by 3 coats of Perfect Match clear top coat. Looks very real for spray paint.

Making the Gauge pods for 3 gauges.

I used fiberglass mat and resin to create the peace. I only used it where the gauges are and went over the plastic OE about 1 inch to 2. Make sure you sand the plastic that the fiber glass will be bonding to with 80 grit sandpaper. This gives it a rough surface to grab on to.

I first cut out the air vents. Next I used Plastalina Modeling Clay to form the 3 pods. Plastalina clay never hardens, remaining pliable and plastic for limitless reworking so you can work on at any time. Can reuse for other projects.
