Trying out BOVs for sound! My Favorite so far is the Greedy Type S. It seems all of the later BOV's went a way from the loud sss noises after 2010 in my opinion. Adapter Plates from eBay are were needed for HKS and Blitz. Tool recommendations Ball End Hex/Allen Key is a big must especially for the adapter Plates.

All of the BOV's are recorded with Movo VXR10 universal shotgun mic with a tablet or a regular smartphone mic. The smart phone mic is only good at capturing inside of the car or far away sounds. The shotgun mic has been used for 88% of the recordings.
