Can the color of the bulb add style to the look of the light housing during the day? I modified the high beam parking/turn light bulbs on the J-Spec headlight. For the parking/turn light I use different color 1157 double filament bulbs. I also changed the high beam to blue color bulbs to go with my theme.
The stock 194 bulb is to small to reflect much of the headlight housing as seen in the pictures.
SilverStar's amber 1157 Turn/Parking bulbs were advertised big in the early 2000's. They had the blue & amber chameleon style which would change colors when you looked at them from different angles.
When off they give a dark bold circle look, which helped you see the depth of the side marker housing. Makes the turn housing stand out more. Downside they are not very bright when turned on.
