Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. – 1Thess 5:16-18
I have decided to add a scripture quote to the start of my letter each week. I hope it allows you some time pause and reflect on your lives and ask for God's guidance as I have found it to do for me. As I reflect on these verses, I am extremely grateful to help lead your children in the Catholic faith along with their teachers. We incorporate prayer throughout our school day and it has been great to hear that some students have started praying more at home too. Our teachers and staff members have been doing an incredible job and they are helping to form St. Sebastian STEM Academy into a wonderful place to be. We would not be able to do it without their hardwork and dedication! We are truly blessed to have each and every one of them. Please pay close attention to the important notes below and as always, reach out with any questions or concerns.
Please report your sick child to the main office 262-425-0009 before 7:45 am
If you arrive after 7:25, please bring your child in through the front doors. The back door does not have a buzzer. You must also stop in the office to sign you child in.
Please remember that students should be in shoes with closed toes and with a back as stated in our uniform policy. This is the most comfortable for student learning and play. Athletic shoes are the best option, please stay away from crocs as students tend to trip over them at recess.

September 21st is VIP (Very Important Person) day. It is a day that students can bring their VIP's to a breakfast at school. We will welcome students with their VIP's at the start of the school day until 8:15. We will have a craft for everyone to work on together during breakfast in the Gym as well as time to see the student classrooms. Mass is at 8:15 so the VIP's can attend mass if they choose. If you choose to bring your student with you to mass please let the office know as we are not to the point of going as a whole school yet. Please fill out the google doc here letting us know who will be attending this special day. Limit to 4 VIP's per student.
Please fill out the Google Form linked here for your students' meal preferences for next week by Sunday night. Our teachers will be sticking to the information filled out in this form so please reach out to them if anything changes. The menus are attached above.

In order to volunteer in our building or at any school events you need to have a background check and have completed the Safe Environment Training. We will be having a training at St. Sebastian on September 13th from 3-6pm. If this date or time does not work for you there are many options available online in our area. If you do not remember if you have had this training in the past please reach out to me and I can look you up in our system.
