I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13.
We had another great week this week. Our students are learning new things every day and it is amazing how much growth has occurred in only a few short weeks. We are looking forward to our VIP day next week Thursday! We will have breakfast and a craft taking place in the gym starting at drop off until around 8am. You can park and enter the building through the back doors, where the students enter each day. After VIP day we will be going to the church for our first mass as a school. We thought it would be beneficial for students to go before the mass with the Archbishop visit on September 24th. If you are joining us for VIP day you are more than welcome to sit with us at mass after as well! Please remember to mark your calendars for September 24th too. Our students have been practicing their song for mass and I am looking forward to having everyone in the building for the blessing afterwards.
Please report your sick child to the main office 262-425-0009 before 7:45 am
If you arrive after 7:25, please bring your child in through the front doors. The back door does not have a buzzer. You must also stop in the office to sign you child in.
Please remember to fill out the google form that was sent out on Tuesday in Dojo. We are looking for the names of who is able to pick up your child after school.
September 21st - VIP Day, 7:25am - 8:00am
September 22nd - No School - All Faculty In-service
September 24th - Mass with Archbishop Listecki and School Blessing to follow - Mass at 9:15.
We would love to see as many of our families as possible. The students were asked to sing a song at this mass.
Racine Bookmobile is in Sturtevant accross the street at South Park from 2:30-4:30 on Tuesdays.
Please see Annual Letter of Availability of Asbestos Management Plan here
We are excited to say our spirit-wear is ready to be ordered. Please share with family and friends. Just a reminder this is a fundraiser too and it will run through September 24th. Orders will be delivered to St. Sebastian's School.

September 21st is VIP (Very Important Person) day. It is a day that students can bring their VIP's to a breakfast at school. We will welcome students with their VIP's at the start of the school day until 8:15. We will have a craft for everyone to work on together during breakfast in the Gym as well as time to see the student classrooms. Mass is at 8:15 so the VIP's can attend mass if they choose. We are going to be bringing our students to mass for the first time this day so we would love for you to join us! Please fill out the google doc here letting us know who will be attending this special day. Limit to 4 VIP's per student.
Please fill out the Google Form linked here for your students' meal preferences for next week by Sunday night. Our teachers will be sticking to the information filled out in this form so please reach out to them if anything changes. The menus are attached above.
Have you heard the news? On Saturday October 14th at 9:00am there will be a Catholic Schools Walk at Siena Retreat Center in Caledonia and St. Sebastian Stem Academy will be participating! We will be celebrating Catholic education and raising money for our school. We will be raising money for student enrichment, specifically a new playground. Attached here is the link with more information on how to create your account. Shout out to those students that have already started raising money!
Please fill out this form from Siena to RSVP to the event. This is different from the account to raise money.
Our next Home and School meeting will be held on October 9th at 6pm.
Attached here are the minutes from our September 11th meeting.
In order to volunteer in our building or at any school events you need to have a background check and have completed the Safe Environment Training. If you were unable to make the September 13th date there are many options available online in our area. If you do not remember if you have had this training in the past please reach out to me and I can look you up in our system. Please share this with anyone you know that is interested in volunteering at the school. I highly recommend doing this if you plan on being involved in any school events.

3K We have been exploring with different shapes in play dough and finger paints. We did some investigating with our magnifying glasses. We continuing to work with healthy habits and learn about doctors and others in our community that care about us.
4K This week we were studying the 5 senses. We smelt mint, lemon/lime, cinnamon, and touched smooth cool table, rough/ bumpy sandpaper, textured chairs, books, shiny aluminum foil. We also played with musical instruments, sang songs and made animal sounds. In addition 4K students built with blocks, magnatiles, legos and enjoyed the sensory sand table.
5K This week we have been working on our PLTW unit "Pushes and Pulls". Today we went on a Push and Pull Hunt in our classroom and around the school.
Congratulations to Wyatt from our 4K class on being our student of the week! Wyatt is always seen sharing on the playground and in class. He is a great example of how to be a friend to everyone. We are so blessed to have him as a part of our St. Sebastian STEM Academy family!
