We had another great week at St. Sebastian! We are looking forward to our family STEM night next week Tuesday from 5-6. Please fill out the Google Form linked below if you are planning on coming. We have many engaging and fun activities planned for the whole family!
As we look ahead to December please mark your calendars for December 16th for our Jingle Jangle Jubilee! Our Home and School group has been busy planning for this event. We will be having our Christmas concert, crafts, cookie decorating, food, a basket raffle, and more! Each class will be putting together a basket to be raffled off and we are looking for basket donations. Home and School will not be meeting in person this month but will meet virtually. Please see the section below for more information.

If your student needs milk only for breakfast please reach out to your teachers individually ahead of time to let them know. Our teachers will be sticking to the information filled out in this form so please reach out to them if anything changes. The menus are attached above.
Join us November 14th from 5:00 - 6:00 for a night of fun with all of our STEM equipment. Bring the family and explore all our cool manipulatives and sensory tables. We will also have STEM challenges for the whole family! Please fill out this form so we know how many people plan on coming! It will be so much fun!
Olivia from 4K was selected as our student of the week this week! She is a hard worker, eager to learn new things, a great friend to all, and loves Jesus. We are so blessed to have her as part of our St. Sebastian STEM Academy family!
3K We "dressed" their scarecrows with all the clothes they need to stay warm in the autumn. We also used watercolors and white crayons to paint and draw what we see in the night sky. We also learned about all of the changes we see and feel during the season of autumn.
4K Examining a bird nest and building birdhouses
5K We compared the amount of force needed to push or pull a box filled with a varying number of rocks across the floor and up a ramp.

Growing your knowledge
Our churches have some great ways to learn more about your faith. If you are looking for something new to grow in your faith life, contact Eric Antrim to learn about the many learning opportunities St. Lucy and St. Sebastian's churches have to grow.
In order to volunteer in our building or at any school events you need to have a background check and have completed the Safe Environment Training. If you were unable to make the September 13th date there are many options available online in our area. If you do not remember if you have had this training in the past please reach out to me and I can look you up in our system. Please share this with anyone you know that is interested in volunteering at the school. I highly recommend doing this if you plan on being involved in any school events.

Once logged in, complete the curriculum called "Initial Training for Clergy, Volunteers and Employees"
Complete the curriculum and RSVP for an in person training session (if you do not see the St. Sebastian option yet it will be posted within the next week, other Siena school options will be available too)
Once class is complete the background check will run and once that is back and clear, you will be certified and can start volunteering.
Kids Town hours for St. Sebastian hours are:
6:30 - 7 a.m. &
2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
