Thank you to the many families that came out to our Trunk or Treat event this past weekend! We had a wonderful time and thanks to our Home and School group for selling some delicious treats for our continued fundraising efforts. Please read about our St. Sebastian STEM night happening in November and fill out the Google Form so we can make sure we have an accurate count to prepare for.
Please remember to fill out the lunch count linked in the newsletter each week by Sunday night. It is helpful for our teachers and lunch staff to know ahead of time.

Racine Bookmobile is in Sturtevant across the street at South Park from 2:30 - 4:30 on Tuesdays.
Please fill out the Google Form linked here for your students' meal preferences for next week by Sunday night. Our teachers will be sticking to the information filled out in this form so please reach out to them if anything changes. The menus are attached above.
Join us November 14th from 5:00 - 6:00 for a night of fun with all of our STEM equipment. Bring the family and explore all our cool manipulatives and sensory tables. We will also have STEM challenges for the whole family! Please fill out this form so we know how many people plan on coming! It will be so much fun!

What in the world is Socktober? Well, it is a made-up word based on SOCK and OCTOBER. We are using the term to let people know that this October we are collecting socks of any size to donate to HALO for those in need. Thank you to those that have donated so far!
We are going to keep it running for a few more weeks.

Colton from 5K was selected as our student of the week this week! He had a great week being a nice friend, learning and participating in class, and listening in the lunch room. We are so blessed to have him as part of our St. Sebastian STEM Academy family!

SAVE the date - Saturday, December 16th. St. Sebastian will be holding our 1st Christmas Party from 5:30- 7:30pm after Mass. We are looking for some volunteers to help with this event. Please join our virtual meeting on Mondays at 6pm.

We are in need of volunteers. Please join our meeting if you are willing to help. We will also have baskets to raffle off. If you are interested in donating a basket or if you know a company or business that might be interested in donating, please let Ms. Lori know.

Growing your knowledge
Our churches have some great ways to learn more about your faith. If you are looking for something new to grow in your faith life, contact Eric Antrim to learn about the many learning opportunities St. Lucy and St. Sebastian's churches have to grow.
In order to volunteer in our building or at any school events you need to have a background check and have completed the Safe Environment Training. If you were unable to make the September 13th date there are many options available online in our area. If you do not remember if you have had this training in the past please reach out to me and I can look you up in our system. Please share this with anyone you know that is interested in volunteering at the school. I highly recommend doing this if you plan on being involved in any school events.

Once logged in, complete the curriculum called "Initial Training for Clergy, Volunteers and Employees"
Complete the curriculum and RSVP for an in person training session (if you do not see the St. Sebastian option yet it will be posted within the next week, other Siena school options will be available too)
Once class is complete the background check will run and once that is back and clear, you will be certified and can start volunteering.
Kids Town hours for St. Sebastian hours are:
6:30 - 7 a.m. &
2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
