We had a busy but great week! We enjoyed our Valentine's Day celebrations on Tuesday. On Wednesday we had an Ash Wednesday prayer service and received ashes from Deacon Eric. Our students will continue to learn about Lent throughout the season. Feel free to use this great Lent Resource at home with your family!
It was great to see so many families at conferences. If you would still like to set up a conference at a separate time please reach out to your child's teacher directly.
Our School Choice window is only open through February 20th! Please find more information in your email or on Dojo. Tuition students do not have to register for the choice program. Your contracts should have been sent to you via email. Reach out if you have any questions.
Please report your sick child to the main office 262-425-0009 before 7:45am. Also, please remember that the day starts at 7:25, if you are running late, please bring your child through the main doors and sign them in to the main office. Thank you!

Home and School met Monday, February 12th. Our next meeting will be on Monday, March 4th or 11th, 6:00pm at School. We are working on a lot of fun things to do this spring. Please consider joining us.

Please join us March 5th and April 10th at A&W for fundraising. Drive or dine in. Let them know you're supporting St. Sebastian. Come anytime between 4:00 - 8:00pm and we will receive 10% of the proceeds from your dinner and dessert purchases.

3K This week 3K did a lot of activities for Valentine's Day. To create and design our Valentine gifts, we used both paint brushes and q-tips to draw and paint. During our party, we used our fine motor skills to frost and decorated our cookies. Outside, many students used chalk to create their own game of hopscotch, using symbols instead of numbers. We are also learning how to successfully roll a hula hoop across the parking lot.
4K 4k students picked these animals to start building homes for. Goldfish, deer, dog, hamster, bush booby , zebra , mouse , kitten, pig , rabbits, shark and clownfish . Ask your child which one did they pick?
5K This week K5 worked on Subtraction in Math. In Science we did some Valentine's STEM Projects. We made Luminaries, Thaumatropes, and Flying Cupids. In Mystery Science we learned about how mail gets delivered.
We are looking for empty egg cartons. If you have any, could you please send to school with you child.Thank you!
Snowy Weather Rules
Please send your student with extra shoes or boots on snowy days. Students will need snow gear (snowpants, boots, hat, jacket, gloves) to play in the snow but there will be no playing on ice, building tunnels, or climbing hills. All students will go out for recess and if they do not have the proper attire they will stay in the shoveled areas. No one will stay inside unless they have a doctor's note. We will stay in for extreme cold, wind, and/or rain.

Growing your knowledge
Our churches have some great ways to learn more about your faith. If you are looking for something new to grow in your faith life, contact Eric Antrim to learn about the many learning opportunities St. Lucy and St. Sebastian's churches have to grow.
In order to volunteer in our building or at any school events you need to have a background check and have completed the Safe Environment Training. We will be offering a class at St. Sebastian's STEM Academy on Tuesday, April 9th at 2:45 - 5:45pm. If you were unable to make the April 9th date there are many options available online in our area. If you do not remember if you have had this training in the past please reach out to me and I can look you up in our system. Please share this with anyone you know that is interested in volunteering at the school. I highly recommend doing this if you plan on being involved in any school events.

Once logged in, complete the curriculum called "Initial Training for Clergy, Volunteers and Employees"
Complete the curriculum and RSVP for an in person training session (if you do not see the St. Sebastian option yet it will be posted within the next week, other Siena school options will be available too)
Once class is complete the background check will run and once that is back and clear, you will be certified and can start volunteering.

2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
