Concentration

At first I had no idea what I wanted to do for my concentration, because I didn't have a lot of photos of the same thing. Once I started looking through the images that I took I realized that Most of my images were of animals. So I decided to focus my concentration on animals : chickens, cats, dogs, and one hamster. My images clearly show my concentration, because they are all of either my cats, my chickens, puppies, or my hamster. My artwork shows how I have improved, because I am using many different techniques to capture the different emotions that the animals have. I wanted to focus my concentration on animals because one of my passions is spending time with animals, and I found that I took a lot of pictures of animals just for fun. I also chose this as my concentration because one project that I want to do is to visit a animal shelter and volunteer to take pictures of the animals so that they can put the images up on their website to help get the pets adopted. In all of these images the animals or people show a certain emotion and Im glad that I captured that. Since I captured the emotions of the animals or people It allows the viewer to think more about the image and wonder why they are sad, worried, scares, etc. Throughout this project I have learned that it is very difficult to photograph animals because they are always moving around which causes the image to be blurry. I have learned how to take better images of animals in motion, the image of the hamster was exceptionally hard because its nose never stops moving. Since the majority of the images I took were all of animals, taking pictures of animals have grown into more of a passion of mine.
