Inspired Collage Film

For this project we all picked one artist and created a collage inspired by their photos. My photographer was Sebastian Salgado, he takes pictures of nature and the different way people live. In my collage i created a landscape with a man that has a basket of bread on top of his head. I used the darkroom to create these photos and the printer in the photography room. To add interest to my composition, i cut up a bunch of little images to create the background of my photo. By creating my collage i learned how to use the darkroom better. While i was creating my prints in the darkroom i was having a lot of trouble with how dark or light the image was, I wasn't sure how long i should expose the paper for.
