Thanksgiving Film

For this project I had to take 24 photos of my family and thanksgiving. In this photo it shows my mom and my sister sitting in front a window that overlooks the Rhode Island mall. I used a film camera to take this photo,i also had to use the dark room to process this photo. Once I took the photos I had to uses a development, a light tight bag, can opener, a film scissors container, and two metal reals. After I had put the film onto the metal reals and placed it into the scissors development container I used three chemicals to actually process it. Once it was done processing I went into the dark room and make a blown up version of one of my film pictures using a number 3 filter so that I would get a larger scale of grey tones. Some of the photographic techniques I used were techniques lighting, leading lines, low key lighting, formal balance, grouping, and low horizon line. I used the following elements of art in my photo line, shape, form, and value. To add interest to my composition I used contrast. This completed work makes me feel silhouette, because it was very received to figure out how long i should expose the paper and if i difficult use a filter or not. In future projects I think that I will use a filter so that I get a larger variety of grey's.
